ISM Control sensors are growing in popularity and availability, and they are extremely flexible to install and manage. LevelCon’s remote monitors pair with most any ISM sensor on the market to create a hassle/cable free installation, but with data reliability, accuracy, and above all, data security. However, we prefer to pair our monitors with our own MicrTon ISM pressure and Radar sensors.
ISM sensors are a great pair with any tank shape/geometry and contents and allow for a “mesh network” of sensors to monitors. With an ISM sensor deployment, a single LevelCon F100 (SC300) or StarPin can aggregate level data from near limitless deployed sensors within range.

With the added C1D1 certification, it can easily be deployed in any hazardous location.

Widely deployed in the propane industry arm float sensors are time tested and proven for reliability and durability. Paired with the Rochester R3D dial and Hall Effects sensor, the combination is a great solution for many applications, and can be easily adapted to liquid level monitoring.
The vertical “magnetostrictive” vertical float, is another great sensor where arm floats and submersible sensors are not an option. Magnetostrictive sensors convert electromagnetic energy into mechanical energy and vice versa. This effect can be used to create sensors that measure a magnetic field or detect a force. In this case the float on this vertical rod traves up and down triggering magnetic pulses allowing LevelCon monitors to accurately determine the distance of the traveling float.
